DESCRIPTION

This aromatic oil is produced in the heart of Provence, near Lourmarin, and is obtained by simultaneously pressing 96% olives and 4% fresh basil leaves.

To obtain this completely natural oil, the pressing, i.e. crushing the basil leaves and crushing the olives, was carried out simultaneously by our partner miller in accordance with Oliviers&Co's specifications.

The nose of this aromatic oil reveals notes of fresh basil, reminiscent of a walk through a vegetable garden or a market. The taste is very fresh at first, followed by a scent of pine nuts and basil, reminiscent of pesto. The freshness lingers for a long time in the taste, without bitterness and with a very slight spiciness, which is a testament to the quality of the selected olives.

Freshly pressed basil olive oil is the perfect addition to your dishes: add it raw to salads and pasta dishes or as a finishing touch to stews. It enhances tomatoes and burrata, refreshes ratatouille, intensifies the flavor of tomato pies and enriches lasagna.
