How to prepare salad dressing
Pour the oil and vinegar into a bowl or jar and mix them continuously until the dressing has a uniform consistency. Season with flaked salt and freshly ground pepper before serving.
If you have a green salad, just mix it with the dressing just before serving. However, if you want to make a delicious cabbage salad, it's a good idea to mix the cabbage with the dressing about an hour before eating and put everything in the fridge.
Classic French Vinaigrette

Ingredients
4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons vinegar, e.g., pink garlic vinegar or classic white wine vinegar
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon honey
Flaked salt and freshly ground black pepper
Vinaigrette is really simple and easy – yet many feel a bit unsure when it comes to salad dressings. It takes no more than 2 minutes, and a good vinaigrette adds flavor to a green salad for dinner or lunch.
Method
In a bowl, combine the olive oil, vinegar, mustard, and honey, and whisk gently (preferably with a wooden spoon) until the vinaigrette has a uniform consistency. Season with flaked salt and freshly ground pepper before serving.
You can store the dressing in the fridge with a lid for about a week.
