Nowadays, the quality of our diet depends on the selection of authentic, traceable products made with true craftsmanship. It is in this spirit that Oliviers&Co has selected a brand-new range of exclusive dry pasta for you: Pasta Raguso.

The history and craftsmanship of the Raguso family

The excellent quality of these pasta has its roots in an Italian family business founded by the Raguso family more than ten years ago. These farmers, who have been engaged in this activity for three generations, boldly opted for a short supply chain: they directly process wheat grown on their own lands, located between Apulia and Basilicata. Respect for nature is an absolute priority. Their wheat, grown in an environmentally

responsible manner, is guaranteed to be free of pesticide residues. The company also adheres to the principles of a circular economy, where agricultural waste is used to feed livestock or produce energy, and cellulose packaging is fully recyclable.

As for production, quality is uncompromising: the pasta, made from durum wheat semolina, is pressed into bronze dies and then slowly dried in static chambers. This cutting-edge process allows for a slightly rough texture that perfectly holds sauces. Moreover, their taste is so rich, intense, and authentic that these pasta taste great even without sauce!

Enhance your meals with our olive oils

To highlight all the subtle nuances of this range, the accompaniment plays a key role. Nothing beats a generous serving of extra virgin olive oil to elegantly coat the pasta. If you want to add a little variety to your taste experience and a creative touch, let yourself be tempted by one of the aromatic oils from our collection. A few drops of oil with the scent of fresh basil, thyme, or Provençal herbs will transform a simple meal into a true sunny journey. Of course, our (classic olive oil) with the fruity taste of green or ripe olives remains an indispensable companion for all your Italian recipes.

Our selection of Raguso pasta

Whether you want to enrich your daily meal or prepare a refined dinner, here are the products from this exceptional range worth discovering:

Spaghettoni

Spaghettoni are a type of long and thin pasta, recognizable by being slightly thicker than classic spaghetti. Originating from Southern Italy, they are characterized by excellent cooking stability and a very satisfying consistency. They are ideally suited for rich and delicious sauces, such as carbonara or bolognese, but they also complement seafood dishes or simple sautéed vegetables perfectly, coating them beautifully while remaining nicely al dente.

Tubettini

An integral part of Southern Italian family cuisine, Tubettini are small, short, and cylindrical pasta in the shape of mini tubes. Their compact and practical shape is perfect for creamy dishes or summer pasta salads, where they wonderfully capture sauces, vegetables, and legumes with every bite. They are also ideal for making winter evenings cozier when added to soups, minestrone, or broth-based recipes.

Calamarata

Calamarata, inspired by the sea, is a short pasta in the shape of wide rings, visually resembling calamari rings. As a typical symbol of the Neapolitan region, its large shape naturally pairs well with seafood sauces, as well as tomato-based or vegetable dishes. Moreover, thanks to its large tubular shape, even creamier sauces fit into each ring, creating a real explosion of flavors in the mouth.

Fusilloni

If you love fusilli, you'll adore fusilloni: these are short pasta in the shape of wide spirals, much more robust. Originating from Southern Italy, these pasta, prized for their twisted structure and pleasant thickness, are perfect for the densest and most textured sauces. Whether served with meat, cheese, or vegetable sauces, or used in baked dishes, they always deliver an incomparable gourmet experience.

Gluten-free penne

To ensure everyone can truly enjoy these pasta, these (gluten-free penne) in the shape of small tubes are meticulously crafted from white corn flour, yellow corn flour, and white rice flour. Suitable for all types of diets, these penne make no compromises on quality: they maintain a firm and pleasant consistency. They are ideal as a side dish for thick sauces (such as bolognese or carbonara), for preparing delicious oven-baked dishes, or for assembling tasty cold pasta salads.
